The Bridge Awards for Playwriting and Screenwriting

Attention: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the 2023 Bridge Award for Screenwriting has been canceled. Thank you to all who have submitted; we know the effort, energy, and care you put into your applications, and we are grateful you chose to share your work with us.

The submittable platform will remain open until 11:59pm on January 12th. Anyone who has already submitted, or who completes their submission by the January 12th deadline, will receive a fee waiver to submit their screenplay to the prestigious Academy Nicholl Fellowships for screenwriting. Academy Nicholl Fellowships | Oscars.org | Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 

If your screenplay meets the stated rule requirements, AITAF will reach out to you before February 1st, 2023 with details about the Nicholl Fellowship fee waiver.
